Pineapplejazz design is a new media company based in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
We work together with specialised professionals in our network to create tailor-made projects.
Pineapplejazz is run by Tijmen Schep who holds an MA in both interactive media design (graduating with an interactive urban screen) and new media sociology (graduating on ubiquitous computing ideology).
This duality of perspective allows for a nuanced insight into the field of design and technology, leading to his goal of proliferating nuanced perspectives on the future of our technological society.
Tijmen is a founding member of the NetNiet.org foundation and is involved in setting up a Utrecht medialab.
He is an editor with Things to Come and the Utrecht New Media Night.
Tijmen teaches part-time on pervasive and locative design at the HvA and the WDKA schools, and regularly lectures and hosts workshops.
