At the end of 2004 veterinary clinic De Hoekse Waard asked me to develop their new website. The styling of Dierenkliniek de Hoekse Waard was allready very playfull and interesting, since the practise asked an illustrator from Rotterdam to develop their housestyle.
I really liked this unusual playfulness, so I decided that, while the website should be very useable, it should retain it's playfulness too. I did this by using very large photos as the background.
The website also has a custom Content Management System to allow for easy updating.
A custom block-based CMS allows for easy updating of the website.
Visitors can email their own pictures
that will then randomly be shown as
backgrounds.
